Childbirth is one of the most amazing man feats possible - but imagine giving birth to the heaviest baby ever, or eight babies at once!

In Saint Petersburg Panorama, Bashutski, 1834, the author noted that:

"In the day of 27 February 1782, the listing from Nikolskiy monastery came to Moscow containing the information that a peasant of the Shuya district, Feodor Vassilyev, married twice, had 87 children."

1846 - Heaviest birth and longest baby

1975 - Near consecutive girl/boy births in a family

This astonishing record was achieved by the Ewers family (USA) in Chicago, Illinois, The states, equally verified on 23 Feb 2018, with 11 consecutive girl/boy births in a family unit.

The xi children were built-in to Thomas and Katherine Ewers.

1978 - First exam tube babe

The term "test tube baby" refers to the process of medical intervention in which the egg is fertilised outside of the body, and then implanted into the uterus. This is known as in vitro fertilisation (IVF).

2002 - Shortest baby

Nisa Juarez (U.s.) was born on xx July 2002 measuring just 24 cm (9.44 in) long and weighing merely 320 yard (eleven.three oz).

She was born 108 day premature at the Children'southward Hospital and Clinic, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Us, and discharged from hospital months later on 6 December 2002.

Stacey Herald (United states) was just 72.39 cm (28.5 in) alpine when she gave birth for the first time.

Cian was born at 10:xl on 28 December 2019. Declan and Rowan were then built-in five days later, at 23:xi and 23:14 respectively, on ii January 2020.

This means the identical-sibling triplets were born in separate decades.
